It’s autumn 2022, and I’m just putting the finishing touches on your 2023 travel horoscopes. Writing travel horoscopes is no small feat – I consulted the stars, I read your tea leaves, I even grabbed a few strangers’ hands in the hostel and offered them an unsolicited palm reading. I take my annual travel astrologer duties very seriously!
Just kidding!
I won’t pretend that I don’t read my horoscope every now and then, but in order to write your 2023 travel horoscopes I turned to a much more reliable source than the constellations. I asked eleven of my travel blogger friends to once again reflect on their own astrological profiles, and to recommend one of their favorite 2023 travel destinations for others who share their zodiac sign.

Iceland is the Best Destination for Aries Travelers in 2023
Aries, born between the end of March and early April, are known for embracing the heated nature of their fire sign. Passionate and driven, yet loyal and caring, Aries make great leaders and friends. I should know, I am one!
As an Aries, I’m always looking for my next travel destination to wow me. For that, what could be more perfect than Iceland? The land of fire and ice is known for being almost as intense as me and my fellow Aries!
With so much to see in one small country, the best way to experience Iceland is on a road trip. I spent five days driving around Route 1, the ring road that circles the island. Each day was an exciting new adventure, which was perfect to keep my Aries personality engaged.
All around the island are lava rocks and hot springs, evidence of Iceland’s volcanic past (and present). In southern Iceland, Aries travelers can walk up to roaring waterfalls like Seljelandfoss and Skogafoss. Further east, sprawling glaciers like Svinafellsjokull and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon are spectacular to see. North Iceland is filled with majestic mountains that make way into moody highlands in the west. Plus, unpredictable weather – just like the moods of any Aries – makes the trip that much more of an adventure.
With all this and more to see, the raw, beautiful nature of Iceland makes it the perfect destination for Aries travelers in 2023.

Cappadocia, Turkey is the Best Destination for Taurus Travelers in 2023
Taurus’s are down to Earth, chilled and tenacious. Being bulls, they are also incredibly brave and ambitious, which makes Cappadocia the perfect destination for them to thrive in.
Cappadocia is the perfect travel destination for Taurus travelers in 2023; a balance between adventure and relaxation.
For the adventurous side of a Taurus, they will revel in the endless hiking trails and ATV tracks that they can explore. Ride around the dirt roads of Red and Rose Valley, or hike through Pigeon Valley and Love Valley to reach Uchisar Castle. They will also enjoy a sunrise hot air balloon ride, which tests their adventure levels to the limit as they soar through the sky as the sun comes up.
Taurus’s are often good with money, and they won’t splurge on something unless it’s going to be worth it.

Bathing is a ritual in Islam, as you need to clean your head, hands, and feet before you pray. So hammams are very popular in Turkey, even in the desert region of Cappadocia. There is nothing more relaxing than soaking in a hot spring pool, surrounded by stunning mosaics and a peaceful atmosphere for a Taurus.
Best of all, Cappadocia is an affordable destination. As we know Taurus’s don’t like to spend money needlessly, and with the Lira continuously dropping, Cappadocia is becoming a more and more affordable place to visit. Just another reason why it’s the best travel destination for Taurus in 2023!
2023 Gemini Travel Horoscope
Sri Lanka is the Best Destination for Gemini Travelers in 2023
I am a Gemini, which means I am always having trouble deciding, but at the same time I also have a very curious soul. I am very flexible when it comes to traveling but also impulsive, and I react straight away when something happens. Some say I might have a changing temperament based on how I feel. I can be moody one day and the life of the party the other.
A great destination that I loved visiting, which matches my astrological sign, was the highlands of Sri Lanka. This beautiful land is located in the heart of Sri Lanka and has its own unique climate. Some days it may be hot and sunny, whilst the others it can rain cats and dogs. No wonder it is often referred to as Little England.
Is the highlands of Sri Lanka where you will find the famous tea plantations that produce tea which is exported all over the world. If you have the curiosity to take a walk around the plantations, away from the visitors centre, you will discovered terraced crops offering gorgeous views. You can even take a basket and join in the ladies picking the best tea leaves, which will be later dried and packed in pretty packages.
Most people who visit the Highlands go to Ella or Nuwara Eliya. Both cities are great bases for Gemini travelers exploring the area for a few days in 2023. In Ella you can go hiking, whilst in Nuwara Eliya you can discover the English heritage of the country. To travel between them, don’t miss taking the famous blue train.

Massachusetts, USA is the Best Destination for Cancer Travelers in 2023
